The Hammer Award was awarded to ISSI along with other team members: Marion Connell, Jeannie Magee, Stuart Margulies, Richard Mendlen, Phil Schulte, Shyam Choudhary, David R. Williamson and Ashok Goswami on September 29, 1997 for The Manufactured Housing & Standards' data imaging system called EASY Electronic Imaging (EEI) System.

This award recognizes new standards of excellence achieved by teams helping to reinvent government. The Vice President is always looking to celebrate the accomplishment of teams demonstrating extraordinary effort towards implementing the goals of the NPR.
